(Last 5 mins. at rated boost pressure .9" Hg - corrected for barometer).

Petrol pump suction 10" Hg.
press: 5 lbs/sq.in.
delivery 102 gals/hr.

Sparking plugs - Lodge A-30.

After the 2 hrs. test the engine was checked for slow running. The engine ran very well slow at 350 r.p.m. and there was ample control with the slow running adjustment. The jet size was .031" low speed and .125" main. Air bleed (fixed type) standard. The handstarter gear was tried (18/1 ratio) the engine started O.K. hot without doping.

During the test B. side telescopic camshaft drive guard leaked at the bottom spherical joint. The pet cocks on the top water pipes leaked at the base.

The engine was returned to the shop to be dismentled and inspected after which it will be re-erected for final test.
