Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 361 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.1.6.37. re: P.III - von Riedmann. 3-BU-104. With reference to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E31.5.37., we are re-turning to you the papers relative to the above. The Repair Dept. passed the car off as satisfactory last night. The carburetter level was definitely too high. We have circulated a Depot Sheet to enable this point to be checked in the future. Also, a sheet for the Instruction Book explaining the easiest way to start a car when facing up a gradient. So far we have not had a case of a gearbox jumping out of mesh when the cure at present on production has been fitted. Unfortunately, von Riedmann's car was origin-ally turned out a few days before the modification was fitted to all chassis. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
