126.5 W/P. Sr/VA. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}20/AP.23.4.37 PHANTOM III. BRAKES. We have noted the contents of your memo Sr/VA.5/ET.21.4.37. We are not surprised that you had bad drum scoring on 3.AZ.20. We always scored our drums with F.B.A. and brass rivets and that was why we changed to S.5805 (now called S.Z.) and Tinman's headed copper rivets. S.Z. seems to work quite well on Ph.III. but we may be changing to something else shortly. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
