x7961 RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} at W. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}19/I/21-9-34. B-65-AE - MR. R.{Sir Henry Royce} F.{Mr Friese} SUMMERS. We duly received your telegram of this morning recommending the rigid attachment of the front wings to the running boards on this car, and confirm our telephone message during the three o'clock call to the effect that Park Wards have been instructed to carry on as you recommended, i.e., to rigidly attach the wings to the steps. By the way, when Mr. Summers was here yesterday he complained of the bonnet clips squeaking and of the need for frequent lubrication. He also drew attention to the fact that the lower edges of the bonnet sides rub on the bonnet rests. Your Representative who brought the car here has probably mentioned these points to you. In any case, you will no doubt do what you can in respect of them when the car comes back to you. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} | ||
