In view of the difficulty which is experienced in getting the Ph.III clutch to free properly, we think we ought to make every effort to get the maximum possible separation. We do not think that an increase in pedal load would be tolerated and it would seem that the only practicable way is to increase the pedal travel by, say, .500" to 1.000" by recessing the pedal plate locally.
