We send herewith N.Sch.4819 which shows the clutch adjustment provided with stops which determine the amount of adjustment that can be made. The rivet heads are .032" below the surface of the fabric, and as it is important that the heads should not come into contact with the flywheel or pressure ring, we have made the stops limit the adjustment to .028" per surface. This is given by .250" at the adjustment link. A washer is provided on the link so that the .125 clearance necessary at each end can be set, and provided the washer is not removed or replaced by another, no more adjustment can be made than is intended.
