Dear Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair},

With further reference to my letter the other day and with regard to the paper I am endeavouring to write, I wonder whether I could trouble you for some more information.

I would like to know the maximum b.h.p. developed per exhaust valve and also square inch of exhaust valve area on the Bentley, 25 h.p. and Phantom car engines.

I would, in addition, like to know the b.h.p. developed per valve and square inch of valve area of the latest Kestrel and/or Goshawk when running at their normal rating and when producing maximum power (say, 1000 b.h.p.) on special fuels.

I quite appreciate that I am being a nuisance, but I should at the same time be very grateful if you would let me have this information.

Yours sincerely,
