Re - R.R. Magneto Contact Maker.
With reference to the R.R. magneto contact maker at present fitted to the magneto on 7-CA, this contact maker, as we have informed you, failed through the swelling of the fibre.
We shall be pleased if you can either modify the cam already existing on this car, making one in which the rise and fall are very much more sudden so that it performs in one fourth the time of the original design.
The clearance of the rocker also might be greater when in the 'off' position. (contact made)
