The engine of this car has recently become rather lumpy on the pick up and it is also now showing definite signs of a gallop, which I had not before observed. In view of the approaching standardisation of the modified material for the slipper drive we would like this fitted to the car if material can be supplied. Would you consider it quite satisfactory for Cricklewood to fit this material, or would you prefer to have the car at W. for it to be done there? As this engine is just about due for decarbonisation, it would be very convenient to have this attended to at the same time, so that I would like to have your view on this matter as soon as possible.
