A.C.Sphinx Sparking Plug Co.Ltd.,
DUNSTABLE, Beds.

Dear Sirs,

We have received the experimental sample speedometer No.S.17281, Serial No.M.192, but regret to say that the calibration of the speed scale is wrong, i.e. it should have been calibrated for 840 revs. per mile and not 940.

Furthermore, the enamel on the trip odometer is very poor and we should like this re-enamelled before being returned to us.

Will you please arrange to correct this instrument and return to us as quickly as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
