Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 19th. ult. in which you promised to send us some Brake Lining which you state should be free from squeaking tendencies.

We have as yet heard nothing further on this subject and wonder whether the material in question has got mislaid in our Stores. We should be obliged if you could let us know if the brake lining has been despatched from Chapel-en-le-Frith.
