BJ3/E24/9/27 Before Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} leaves to see R.{Sir Henry Royce}, please consider what delays to (a) the 10,000 miles' test, (b) in producing the first three chassis, will be caused by each of the suggested modifications, so that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} may discuss this clearly with R.{Sir Henry Royce}, to arrive at a^ny definite conclusion of what three chassis we can have early in December to have bodies fitted and send to the Riviera, and show in England in January. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} understands and appreciates how necessary it is for us to show the new car on the Riviera, as practically all the people who use the fast French roads and need speed are there and talk on the matter of speeds of different cars during their stay there. Meanwhile Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will prepare suitable bodies for these three cars to be ready to fit to the chassis and finish in the shortest possible time to send to the Riviera.
