Bs{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}17/KW 28.1.26. Private. X1729 S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Re- Cadillac Car. In accordance with your telephonic request I have made further enquiries into the conditions of the suggested trial of the Cadillac Car. It would be necessary for us to have at least 24 hours' notice of your intention to use the car, as we could only get it by treating the job as a trial run. It would not in any case be possible for you or your representative to have the car unaccompanied as a representative of the agent would expect to be on the car all the time the run was in progress. The only way we have been able to get hold of a Cadillac is by getting an intermediary to go the Agents in London and arrange a trial run. MADE AT C/Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager} | ||
