R.R. 460A (20M) (D.A. 853 30-5-24) F.B.D. EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. Expl. No. REF: REAR AXLE. Leakage of oil from rear hubs when the rear brakes are excessively used. Test carried out on 49 G.B. re- memo BY8/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 14. 7. 24. Both rear brake drums dismantled & ball races packed with grease, an empty air pocket being left between the inner & outer races outside the distance piece.
