Bentley / Mr Barrington}11/W27-2-20 Mr Bailey has replied regarding the drilling of holes for the shock absorbers. With reference to the provision of a luggage grid we have suggested to London and have submitted to Mr Royce a proposal for a standard bracket to be fixed at the back of existing frames to which a luggage grid could be fastened, but Mr Royce did not express a very definite opinion, and did not seem to altogether approve of our proposals, and consequently the matter is held in abeyance pending a complete design of luggage carrier, which we are engaged in making. This design is temporarily held up in favour of the motor boat job. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
