Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of the 11th inst., and note you are keen for us to test some engine mounting rubbers of your manufacture.

As the largest problem with these items is a matter of getting really good adhesion of the rubber to the steel inserts, we should like to know if you have had much experience in moulding rubber to steel. If you have any sample parts where rubber is moulded to steel, we should be interested to test them.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
