3 I feel convinced that a wrong impression exists as to my attitude in this matter. restive, I am very anxious to remove it. (how comes?) Your Directors may think me lacking in appreciation of the great amount of expense they have necessarily been put to, and that I am not grateful for the consideration they have shewn? Please assure them this is far from being so, and that I fully recognise that since the date of the diaster, nothing could have exceeded the kindness and condolence which has been extended to me personally, as exemplified in the sending of a car for members of the family to visit Wadhurst, the sympathetic & kind reception on arrival. | ||
