The following are brief notes of the discussion held this morning :-

(1) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will instruct 8° cones for 21-G-IV.
(2) Hardy will see Imeson re 45° gears.
(3) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} must arrange for the rig in the bump to be capable of motoring the SpectreCodename for Phantom III. We have now known for 3 or 4 weeks that this rig will not drive the SpectreCodename for Phantom III, but nothing has yet been done.
(4) Martindale will carry on with the frame tests at Shardlow whilst Whyman is doing tyre tests on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III.
Tests on 5-B-IV frame now seem to concentrate round the possibility of reducing sideways shake of the steering column by stiffening up the frame from just behind the dashboard forward. The idea is to show by some simple means, such as using the engine as a cross member, that an improvement can be made, and then if successful making something which can be run on the road.
(5) Swindall should report on the Stromberg pipe with reduced restrictions.
(6) Ratcliffe will carry out slow running tests on the new cylinder head on 18-G-IV.
(7) Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will give a summary of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III frame tests and indicate whether it is up to Olley's specification of a good frame for soft top bodies or not.
