40/50 HP. SIDE STEERING TUBE.

We note in a report from Paris on Quarterly Complaints, that they have experienced 3 cases of 1500 lbs. side steering tube springs of the old over-stressed type, breaking.

From our own experience we know that these springs are bound to break. The steering becomes almost dangerous when they have broken.

We therefore recommend that cars to which these side steering tube springs have been fitted should receive the earliest attention with regard to fitting N.sch.2301.2.158
