DERBY.

For attention of W.A. Robotham, Esq.

Dear Sirs:

With regard to the 33x6.75 (7.00-21) Dunlop Silent tyres of the Normal type (not "Fort") which you are at present using - bearing in mind the desirability of increasing the wear resisting capacity of these tyres, we are contemplating making a small alteration to the tread contour and thickness for this purpose.

In view, however, of your request that we should not make alterations of this kind without giving you the opportunity of considering them, we beg to enclose you a sketch showing the proposed modification, and we would greatly appreciate it if you would tell us whether you could accept tyres altered in this way without difficulty.

If your reply is favourable, we shall put the mould alterations in hand straight away.

Yours faithfully,
for DUNLOP RUBBER COMPANY LTD.,

W. Bond
Development Manager.
