Re: Chassis No. 93.NK.

I tried this again yesterday, but owing to condition of the roads and short space of time available for three people to try the Car, was unable to obtain any useful impression therefrom.

Dealing with the points in C.W.B's questionnaire attached :-

1. Yes; so far as I could see, it is the same as at present.
2. Yes, except the magneto contact breaker - the accessibility of which is none too good.
3. Yes - and in my opinion, an improvement on present steering.
4. Should require a further trial before being able to answer.
5. Yes, but capable of improvement by being brought together as per modern design.
6. Yes, positions seemed good, but I could not find any front lamp lever.
7. Exhaust at tail end when engine is standing, does not seem to be as silent as at present.
8. The driver stated that these were O.K.
9.)
10.)
11.) I sincerely hope that the present type of tank and filler on this Car is not going to be fitted, as I consider it retrograde as compared with the present arrangement. The filler is the ugly one like on the 20 HP. stuck out at an angle at the top of the tank and appears to have all the disadvantages which such a filler should not have.
12. I have no information on this point.
13. I think that the steering wheel controls are capable of improvement. I do not like to see a 'Bakelite' top piece on top of all the other black controls of a different finish. The top piece, I think, should be finished in the same way as the rest.
