Phantom III Front Suspension.
Lubricating Coil.
Referring to the pipe coil inside the upper wishbone pivot on Phantom III, on N.Sch.4907, we instructed the removal of the recess which formerly retained the leather sleeve for protecting the pipe, and at the same time shewed a modified leather sleeve laced round the coil. This latter sleeve is now obsolete and should be superseded by the band of leather wound spirally around the coil and hooked round the pipe at each end, shown in the model accompanying the detail drawing, and should be modified to this.
It is this arrangement we want fitted to the experimental car now being erected. 35EX
