Bentley Rear Aluminium Composite Brake Drums.

In Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}12/KW.5.11.35, we instructed 2 brake drums with Brico "Brimol" liners, with different interference fits.

We have received the first of these with .012" interference, and as this is satisfactory on test we wish to cancel the second one, with .020" interference.

We still want the second N.M.C. liner fitting when it arrives.

This leaves us with 2 aluminium castings not accounted for. When we have decided on the best liner for the job they can be built up into drums for a 10,000 miles test.
