PLUG TESTS ON TRANSPORT CARS.

The following carburetter modifications have been carried out in order to test plugs under fuel economy conditions. In other words, the carburetters have been set to give maximum economy without loss of performance. when running on a new set of plugs. It is thought that after a time plug deterioration may be responsible for weakness on pick-up or misfiring, in which case the plugs will be examined by the Electrical Department.
