(8) Delete the washer now provided to drive out the servo shaft bearing 125.AC. and enlarge the bore of the retaining lip - See Hdy.{William Hardy}1/MN.29.10.34.

(9) The bolts and studs securing the casing halves all to have the nuts at the front. - See Hdy{William Hardy}:2/MN.29.10.34.

(10) Coring for oil drain from servo drive shaft bearing to be deepened. - See Hdy.{William Hardy}3/MN.29.10.34.

(11) Speedometer drive to suit 4.25:1 axle - N. Sch.4251 and Hdy.{William Hardy}2/MN.1.11.34.

(12) All of the modifications to the 2nd speed actuation given by N. Sch.4207 are required on this box. Only three of these were asked for in the specification for the second box.

(13) Until we have some results of tests on the second box we should like the second speed synchromesh sliding piece and outer sleeve held up as we are uncertain of the best type and cam angle.

(14) The 2nd speed actuating lever and actuating piece should be to G.81880 and G.81881, i.e. without the roller at the upper end.

(15) The S.M. cones should all be of the wide type.

Alternative pieces.

No more alternative pieces need be made for this box as those already asked for will be interchangeable on the two boxes, with the exception of the plain bearing 2nd speed slider, which can only be fitted to the second box.
