- 7 - GENERAL 2. (contd) being 54" it was felt that a petrol filler could be included in the rear wing of B.50 also. 3. Free of Charge Work This matter was discussed in a preliminary way, and it was arranged that at the next meeting a further discussion should take place after a careful study of the existing guarantee. It is realised that an opportunity will exist to alter this in respect of B.III and also B.50, and it was suggested with regard to B.50 that the period should be shorter than that for R-R and Bentley. 4. B.60 (High Power Head) It was stated that a further three weeks would be required to complete all the drawings in connection with this, but that 90% of them were finished. 5. Ammeter Failures Memo Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}9/HR11.6.38 was considered. Owing to five failures on P.III as compared with only one each on 25/30 and Bentley it was decided that we must continue replacing them because the failure meant a complete black-out. BY will instruct all concerned accordingly. It was agreed that nothing further in this direction need be done in respect of 25/30's and Bentleys. | ||
