Temperature - Leakage Tests
on Experimental Coil Cases.
Three ignition coil cases, made up from some new moulding powders, were submitted for test by the production department.
The investigations were initiated with a view to obtaining a powder which was cheaper, and of British manufacture, but at the same time as good as our standard material, Redmanol.
The moulding powders used were:-
1 Celoron. Grade M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}
2 Celoron. Grade S.
3 Beetle Powder.
Each coil case was taken through two cycles of temperature, ranging from atmospheric to 100°C, the leakage current being measured at intervals of 20 centigrade.
Signed Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
