RE PISTONS - X.3177.

Will you kindly instruct the Works to hand over to Mr. Hives six pistons made in 7% copper, 93% aluminium alloy, that is to say, it is the B4 alloy omitting tin and zinc.
We are very anxious to get this test running at an early date, as the Works find that the alloy above considerably helps the Foundry in producing castings.
