Dear Sir,

Re: 2.B.50.

We wish to confirm our remarks to you concerning the above body both during our visit to your Works last Friday, and also during your visit to Derby on Wednesday.

(1) We wish to have the horizontal moulding finishing as a lance-head, and not travelling over the rear wing. We understand this can be done without delay or scrap.

(2) We do not think we should like, or that it is wise to try on this body a boot treatment such as we saw on the F.S.D. We would prefer to have the return sweep such as on 3.B.5., retaining the side contour of the body as drawn. We do suggest that the radius between the boot side and the rear panel be less large than on 3.B.5. as the large radius makes the whole look heavy. The wings and wheel arches remain unchanged.

The above changes will give this body an appearance somewhat like that we propose for the body now under design development.

We hope to be able to call on you in the immediate future to deal with the following points:-

(a) Door Locks.
(b) Built In Ventilators of the Mead McLean pattern.
(c) Scuttle Ventilation. We wish to try a system of side scuttle ventilation now under test by Exp. Dept. particulars of which will be conveyed to you.
