---------------------------------

Dorey still has no information to enable him to modify the hull of the Beaufighter at Hucknall. I have therefore sent Frise the following telegramme:-

WE ARE MODIFYING A MACHINE AT HUCKNALL STOP PLEASE SEND NECESSARY DRAWINGS FOR APERTURE TO BE CUT IN HULL ALSO TWO STANDARD PANELS AS DISCUSSED WITH GREEN WHICH WE WILL MODIFY STOP PLEASE TREAT THIS MATTER AS VERY URGENT

We presume that you have arranged for the part shown on QST.264, QST.260 and QST.258 to be available for the Hucknall installation as well as the one at Duxford.
