To Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Er. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG23.8.26. FAILURE OF BATTERY IGNITION POINTS. X4652 It has been agreed to by B.J. that the Experimental Department shall investigate any cases of complaint of burning of contact points. Will you please let us know when you have a case in which the points have failed in under 5000 miles running. We would prefer to deal with the worst cases only. We understand there are some cars which regularly give trouble. We wish first to test out the ignition on the car - if this is found to be O.K. we shall modify the distributor head and return it to the customer. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
