Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wishes the Experimental Dept. to take up
the question of additional cost of the bumper bar with
Wilmot-Breedons.

Will you, therefore, please make an appoint-
ment to go over there, and discuss the matter with Mr. Breedon
to discover where the extra cost comes from, and whether there
is any chance of getting it down to a reasonable figure.

We anticipate that most of the trouble is due
to dislocation of production; on the other hand, possibly
they have not realised that they are paying more for the
material than the present market price warrants.
