BENTLEY BUMPER BAR

We recently sent through a standardisation sheet for bumper bar weights in 92% lead, 8% antimony, after having ascertained from Hl. that this material would not cost appreciably more than pure lead.

Messrs Wilmot Breedon have quoted 2/6d. per bumper bar increase due to the antimonial weights. We have calculated from the current prices of lead and antimony that the price increase should be 2 1/2d. per bumper bar. We consider that this matter should be taken up with Messrs Wilmot Breedon.
