Please receive herewith:- LeC.4470 showing the design of the tappet in cast iron with chilled contact face. We suggest that the castings be obtained from Messrs. Pattisson & Hoburn of Coventry. These people are extensively making this product for the trade. It will be noticed with this scheme that the push rods, tappet blocks, and clamping jaws, are unaltered.
