To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Ry. +354 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}7/KW.3.5.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Oil Relief Valves. Trouble has been experienced on several units with the ball valve seats E.84957/8/9 which are of BZ/PC, working loose, and coming adrift in the A/C valve casings E.84914. We are assured that these have been correctly fitted, the seats being pressed in when the casing is hot. It appears that an alternative method of fitting, such as screwing the seats in to the casing, is necessary and is urgently required. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/L.H.Swindall. | ||
