X5840 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG24. 8. 25. R Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}2/M24. 8. 25. X.5840 With reference to the attached ref. above. Under the conditions of running in France the average mileage of tyres is 3,500 miles. This means that when running 500 miles per day, a complete set of tyres are worn out in 6 to 7 days. We are taking this matter up with Chateauroux because at the moment we do not see that it is necessary to have new inner tubes in every case. We will let you have further information when we have obtained it. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
