To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ14/H24.8.25. Copy to .... CWB. Handwritten: 458/40 SECRET. R Re 10,000 Miles Test on 'India'. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}9/LG20/8.25. Under the circumstances you mention, CJ. has agreed that to enable tests to be carried out as soon as possible, CWB. should drive the car as much as possible during the 8,000 and 9,000th miles, and should drive the last 1,000 miles himself. During the last 8,000 and 9,000 miles, CWB. should be advised of everything done to the car, and supply this information to the Administration on completion of the 10,000 miles. He will make the test just as if he were a private customer about to take delivery of a car and give his opinion of it. B.J. | ||
