NEEDLES 12.6 MPG. Average Speed..59.7 MPH. L.B.I.NEEDLES 13.28 MPG. Average Speed..58.5 MPH. C.I.NEEDLES. Maximum speed on Salbris straight approximately 15 miles, 98 MPH outwards and 100 MPH. inwards. Cut-out open. L.B.I.NEEDLES. Maximum speed on same stretch of road 99 MPH. outwards and 101 MPH. inwards. Cut-out closed. L.B.I.NEEDLES. Give an improved acceleration from 30 MPH. direct drive over the C.I.Needles, slow running more even and Engine less inclined to stop after deceleration. Other tests to follow. The Engine does not foul anywhere to cause roughness. It is however the old standard mounting with rubbers under the rear feet, and also foot pedal brake anchorage mounted in Gearbox. Rubber mounting is to be attended to. -------------- G.W.Hancock G.W.H. | ||
