Bentley Chassis 9-B-V.{VIENNA}

The following points should be noted:-

Front yokes are FB.3675/6 with metal spherical top bearings and are to be replaced by FB.4145/6 yokes with 1¾º castor angle and Silent bloc bush top bearings.

Steering levers are modified to PD.134, and FB.3943/4 to suit 7" tyres, these levers have been heated and set.

Lower triangle levers are FB.3507/8 and torque arms FB.2980 and do not include FCD.881 Lower thrust stay. FB.3507/8 Alteration 17944/F.{Mr Friese} Lower triangle levers and FB.4069 torque arms are to be fitted when available.

Front Shock Dampers are to LOP.FB.3465 using EX.S.487 casings and FB.3410 pistons in I/C pistons should be FB.4164 in S/HC.

Rebound stops EX.S.934/5 are welded to the frame. FCD.878 metal rebound stop which is the latest scheme includes a new bracket which is spot welded to the frame and cannot be fitted to existing frame.

Front brake equaliser FB.3786 Assembly to be replaced by strengthened parts to FB.4017 Assembly, LOP. FB.4022.

Front brake intermediate shaft is to LOP.GB.3708 and does not include armstrong damper used as a dash pot this will be fitted when available.

Pedals are to LOP.FB.3797 and include FB.4206 Assembly of Brake pedal electric butt welded and FB.3791
