Assembly of accelerator pedal electric butt welded. The clutch pedal lever is Ex.30703 in Bz/A.{Mr Adams}

Rear Springs are Firths FB.3851 1,000 lbs 4" deflection these are to be replaced by Woodheads "Toledo" springs 7" deflection FB.4029 Jacking bracket is not fitted as it fouls the ground on rebound and fouls the body on full bump.

The petrol tank straps are spot welded in accordance with the latest drawings.

Controls are fitted up to ECD.617 with the exception of the Carburation control which is electrically operated and mocked up to ECD.758. The shock damper governor control is mocked up similar to 8-E-V.{VIENNA}

FCD.970 Revised position of battery support and petrol pump is incorporated Hank rivet bushes have been fitted to replace screwed bushes and spotwelding has been used to replace some rivets.

FCD.700 Gastight sealing joint for Steering Column is fitted. A new scheme FCD.875 is detailed but parts are not available.

The holes for Floatex body mountings in the body brackets have been welded up to F.Dodd's instructions.

The dashboard is stiffened by the inclusion of finger grooves to FCD.974, the fixing of the dashboard to the frame by Floatex mountings is superseded by FCD.972 and an additional body bracket FB.3502 is provided each side of the frame.

Gear Box No.3.B.1 is fitted this is the first 3.B. box to be built and is in accordance with PD.85, which includes large diameter cones this box will require further modification before test.
