Front Jacks on Lower Wishbone of Front Suspension. We send herewith prints of RS{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} 105, and RS{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} 106, showing the right-hand and left-hand brackets for carrying the jack on the lower wishbone. These are experimental details and are not for production in as much as they are to be made as castings in aluminium-bronze. They are heavier in section than the corresponding drop forge pieces shown on the final scheme, LeC 4891. We are anxious to obtain a rapid test of jacks mounted in this position, as if we are forced on the first cars to use a hand pump, the reduced stroke of the jack when mounted on the wishbone helps materially in reducing the time required for jacking.
