IGNITION COILS.

We are quite in agreement with the suggestion of using a tube to wind secondary on, and as a matter of fact instructions were issued by me to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Dept. six months or more ago to get out schemes for an improved coil including this and other features, but unfortunately then as now pressure or other work which seemed of more value has pushed it back.

We will go into this matter in the near future, as we fully appreciate the value of regular winding and spacing radially of the layers of turns.

About nine months ago we cut out the oil silk 'turn in' which was the main cause of the irregularity in the winding, and since this gives us a smooth finish to primary, and therefore a good even secondary winding we consider we have covered your suggestion thoroughly.
