1245 chp 1379 W/P. To Sr. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}20.1.39. EMBIRICOS' CAR. As you know we are sending you an overdrive box for this car. This requires smaller rear tyres. we have therefore, also sent you 2 wheels with 16" rims and Dunlops have sent 4 tyres 6½ x 16, which should be run at 45 lbs/sq.in. 4,000 r.p.m. will be 114 m.p.h. 'PILOTE' TYRES. Waller says that Michelin have built a second set of steel wheels and that these are on their way + quiet tyres to England. If they have not left France we should like the wheels to stay in France for 8.B. and the tyres to come to England. Can you manage this ?
