(6) Transmission shudder: This occurs only either when disengaging the clutch at very slow speeds or when the clutch is partially engaged as, for example, when working slowly along in a traffic block, particularly when going up a slight gradient. This is not noticeable in ordinary touring but is rather irritating if the car has to be taken through Town, particularly when everything is nicely warmed up and the steadying effect of the oil is lost owing to its viscosity being low when warmed. In any case, I am not very worried about this last point, and if it is not easy to cure we will not bother about it.

I heard from Mr. Robotham today and his suggestion is that I should meet your experimental engineer when he is visiting Kingsbury.

Perhaps you would advise me when he is next likely to be there.
