Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} TO BJ. FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} R1/M23.6.27. C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DY{F R Danby} 40/50 BONNET SHUTTERS. X766 X9260 X1085 [STAMP] RECEIVED JUN 24 1927 I quite agree with your memo. BJ5/D20627., and that is why it was done years ago. Now things have slightly changed, our cooling is better, though naturally not sufficient under bad conditions of climate and driving. What I was after was a better appearance and simplification of all RR. cars, and saving money, because only a few would have to be fitted with louvres. £28 for cutting and forming the louvres is an absurd price. How many hundreds for the bonnet, and how many thousands for the car? R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
