PETROL PUMPS.

We have been concerned because we have received reports that the A.C. petrol pump fabric disintegrates when brought into contact with certain fuels which can be purchased in central Europe. We have obtained samples of these fuels.

Mr.Kent of the S.U. carburetter Co., was at one time chief Engineer to the A.C. Co., in England, and agrees that changing from these fabrics was a routine job in certain districts.

On a recent visit he showed us a diaphram which he had developed, made from bladders which he is satisfied overcomes the previous troubles.

We have obtained samples and we are hoping to be able to use it in our pumps. It is also oil resisting.
