HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} x2677. R8/M6.12.32. Sent off 9.12.32. C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} PETROL PUMPS. Referring to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MA21232., I am very pleased to hear that you have some more promising material for the petrol pump diaphragm. You will remember that I never had much faith in A.C. material, and I had the impression that the electrically driven petrol pump had a corrugated diaphragm (sylphon type). I should be happier if we could have the same. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
