5. Our present system of hot spotting and shuttering it is doing us no good and Zeniths a lot of unnecessary harm to run with Stromberg Carburettors on any of our cars. Sooner or later therefore we shall be faced with the following choice A.{Mr Adams} To redesign our engines for exhaust hot-spots and use the Stromberg carburettor as it is intended. Alternatively we could compromise by obtaining higher inlet air temperatures. B. To design and make a progressive starter carburettor for use with an S.U. System. or C. To start from scratch and design either some form of expanding carburettor or a fuel injection carburettor which would fulfil our needs. IAS. 20 x 41 | ||
