To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4555 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG4. 7. 24. With reference to your telegram asking for a Goshawk car to be sent to Sales on Wednesday fitted with dipping head lamps with 25° angle. We are afraid it will not be possible for us to do this. 4-G-11 car which is the only car (20 HP.) we have fitted with dipping head lights has been loaned to Sales. They have had it for the last 2 months. We have got a set of the new parts which could be fitted to that car but as the car is not available they have been held up. We are now fitting up 6-G-11 car with the complete scheme of dipping head lamps and this should be ready about the end of the week. From the Sales point of view, we cannot see why they should be interested in alterations to details. The scheme will still remain identical to that which they examined on 4-G-11.
