Phantom III E.E.C. 42 carburettors.

When the high pressure pumps are fitted in the frame, it will be necessary to change the float needle seatings on the above E.88115 carburettors in order to be clear of flooding troubles.

The present size is .180 and the proposed size is the original .130.

32-EX which is now running in France has the smaller seating fitted.

Fuel level in the floatchamber was checked as follows :-
.180 seatings at 100 pts/hr. loss of fuel level .250".
.130 seatings at 100 pts/hr. loss of fuel level .350".

It is very difficult to prevent flooding with the present .180 seating.
